Madrigals

The Marriotts Ridge High School Madrigal Singers, is the premiere vocal ensemble at Marriotts Ridge High School, consisting of twenty-eight students in grades ten through twelve. The Madrigals perform some of the highest level of music available from Renaissance to contemporary chamber choir repertoire. They have received superior ratings in local and regional adjudications since the school’s opening in 2005, and have won five choral grand championships in Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia. The ensemble has had the pleasure of performing at such prestigious venues as the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Blue Ribbon School Awards Ceremony in Annapolis, the Maryland governor’s mansion, The White House, and The Kennedy Center. This dedicated group of singers has toured throughout the state of Maryland, and up and down the east coast.
