The Marriotts Ridge
High School Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Terry Eberhardt, is
the premiere vocal ensemble at Marriotts Ridge High School, consisting of
twenty-six students in grades ten through twelve. The Madrigals perform some of
the highest level of music available from Renaissance to contemporary chamber
choir repertoire. They have received superior ratings in local and regional
adjudications since the school’s opening in 2005, and have won five choral
grand championships in Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and Virginia. The
ensemble has had the pleasure of performing at such prestigious venues as the
National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Blue Ribbon School Awards
Ceremony in Annapolis, and the Maryland governor’s mansion. This dedicated
group of singers has toured throughout the state of Maryland and up and down
the east coast. |
