In order to present a unified, professional appearance, all MRHS students in performing music ensembles are required to purchase the official Cousin's “concert black” to wear for all performances! Students may select from three style options (pictured): long black evening gown, black blouse/palazzo pants combo, or black shirt/slacks/tie combo. Prices range from $54-70 depending on style choice.

New students will need to buy complete attire (either dress or package option).

Returning students have the option to buy separate pieces if updates/extras are needed.

Madrigals, Vocal Ensemble & Jazz Ensemble must purchase concert black, but also have additional attire purchase and/or rental requirements, please scroll down for info!

Your order will ship to the school after the store closes and be distributed in class.
Please try on your garments as soon as they are received!
We will only have one week to collect size exchanges for free (detailed process coming soon),
after which you will have to pay out of pocket to order the correct size!

All pants and dresses are unfinished and will require hemming at your own expense
before Winter Concert performances.
Dry cleaners typically take one week or more for alterations, so allow adequate time. For concerts, students should wear dressy black shoes and black socks or hose. Take the shoes you plan to wear at concerts when you go for alterations! We recommend that the gowns and palazzo pants be hemmed to just above floor level, so the wearer appears to float. We also recommend leaving a couple inches in the hem so you can let it out if you grow an inch or two.

A limited amount of resale attire will be available at 50% cost on a first-come basis.
If you need financial assistance with attire, we are happy to help - please speak with your Director and have them contact the Music Foundation Board about providing attire.
